All of our UK web hosting accounts support the use of Microsoft's FrontPage application.
In order to use Microsoft FrontPage you will need to own the FrontPage software application and have it installed on your local computer. You will also need to have the FrontPage Extensions installed in your website hosting account.
If you specify that you intend to use FrontPage when filling out our Order Form then we will ensure that the FrontPage Extensions are pre-installed in your account. Alternatively, simply let us know if and when you decide to use FrontPage and we will be happy to install the FrontPage Extensions for you at the time.
You should publish your pages from within the FrontPage application to http://www.yourdomain.co.uk
Please note that you won't be able to publish your website until your domain name registration or transfer is fully completed.
FrontPage should not be used in combination with the Web Protect or MIME Types options in your Control Panel as doing so may cause the FrontPage Extensions to become corrupted. Instead you should use FrontPage itself to perform these functions.
It is also very important not to use your own .htaccess files in combination with FrontPage, unless you really know what you are doing.
