We can point additional domains at sub-folders of your account at a charge of £5 per month per pointed domain if you have the Standard Plan or above.
The extra charge is applied to cover both the domain pointing service itself and the higher average resource usage expectations.
Pointing a domain at a sub-folder (as opposed to straightforward domain parking) allows you to upload unique content for this domain. The pointing is done at the server level rather than using crude HTML, Javascript or CGI redirection techniques, making the pointed site indistinguishable from a stand alone account to web visitors and search engines. Visitors will only see the pointed domain in the address bar of their browser - no reference to the main account domain will appear.
Pointed domains share all of the resources of the main account including the disk space and data transfer allowances and a single Control Panel.
By default, any mail sent to a pointed domain will end up in the "main"mailbox of your hosting account. This is the mailbox accessed using your main hosting account user name and password, as given in your Welcome Email.
True mailboxes may only be created for your master domain (the main domain of your account), but it is still possible to customise the handling of mail sent to pointed domains. This can be done by changing the default address for all mail sent to a given pointed domain which is unmatched by a specific forwarder or autoresponder. Further customisation can be achieved by creating forwarders for mail sent to specific e-mail addresses at specific pointed domains.

If you need even greater flexibility than we provide for mail sent to pointed domains, an alternative is to set up the pointed domain MX record to target mail off the system to one of the free e-mail management services that are available.
Due in part to the limitations discussed above, we generally recommend using totally separate web hosting accounts if you would like us to host more than one web site. We discount any additional hosting accounts after the first by 10 percent.
